Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Relient Health is offering a unique opportunity for a caring and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This full-timepermanent position is a chance to make a real difference in the patients' lives at this facility.

Requirements

  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Professional or Student Occupational Therapist Assistant experience 

Responsibilities

  • Screening patients  
  • Documenting progress toward identified objectives
  • Administering occupational therapy services as directed by a registered occupational therapist
  • Conducting patient and family education
  • Delivering quality occupational therapy services
  • Putting patient service first
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Qualifications
  • Pass the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
