Physical Therapist Assistant

Requirements

  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Professional or Student Physical Therapist Assistant experience 
Qualifications
  • Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) 
  • Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) 
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 

Responsibilities

  • Screening patients  
  • Documenting progress toward identified objectives
  • Administering physical therapy services as directed by a registered physical therapist
  • Conducting patient and family education
  • Delivering quality physical therapy services
  • Putting patient service first
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
