Speech Language Pathologist / SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY

Relient Health seeks a caring and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This full-timepermanent position is a chance to make a real difference in the patients' lives at this facility.

Requirements

  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Professional or Student Speech Language Pathologist experience 

Responsibilities

  • Screening patients
  • Performing evaluations and developing initial and interim treatment and discharge plans
  • Documenting progress toward identified objectives
  • If applicable, overseeing Clinical Fellowship Year Clinicians (SLP-CFYs) 
  • Developing and implementing new programs/techniques to enhance speech therapy services.
  • Conducting patient and family education
  • Delivering quality speech therapy services
  • Putting patient service first
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Qualifications
  • Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology exam administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS)
  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA)
  • Eligibility to complete a post-graduate clinical fellowship (CFY)
  • State licensure or provisional permit eligibility to practice as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
